THE DURON FAMILY BAND
Danny Duron
Trumpet / Percussion / Keys
Biography
Being the youngest of 10, and being born into a musical family, Danny really never thought about being anything else but a musician. Like his brothers before him, his dad started him on the maracas at a young age. Later he would move onto other instruments. Piano came naturally and easy to Danny, but his heart was in playing the trumpet. By the time he was 15, he was playing with a funk rhythm and blues soul band called the TMG's. Later he received a music scholarship to attend MSU where he also played in the marching band. After college, he joined the Hi-Notes for 5 years before starting his own band called Warsaw. That band was amazing and played Polish halls all over the Grand Rapids area. Danny eventually took a 10-year break from music, only to return to record these songs as a tribute to his father, who left him with love and the gift of music.
